Movement 1 : Hip flexion
Cues:
push hands onto the front of the thighs
keep a neutral spine, imagine a straight line from the tailbone to the head
count 3 seconds moving from one point to another point
Movement 2: knee flexion/extension in hip flexion position
Cues:
bend the knees, thinking of sitting on a chair
keep the spine straight
push the knees straight, sending the hip backward
Movement 3: single leg knees raise
Cues:
thigh length from the wall
standing leg keep straight, thinking heel-knee-hip-shoulder-head in a straight line
raise the thigh till parallel to the ground, imagine holding a cup of water
use a book on top of the head to cue the joint alignment
Movement 4: alternating standing knee raise
